Fact
Over 10 years we have accommodated an average of 400 people per year - keeping a nightly occupancy of 19/20 people.
How we help
Our resources | Night shelter
The night shelter has been in existence since 1996. It is a direct access night shelter catering for single homeless men and women over the age of 16 years. It is open all the year round from 8.00pm to 8.00am.
In the early part of the last decade between 25 and 30 people were regularly found sleeping on the streets of Gloucester - Since the night-shelter opened in 1996, this figure has reduced by two thirds.
We are the only night-shelter in Gloucestershire and there are no other homeless projects that work an open door system, within the County.
Over the coming years we aim to provide a new shelter.
